McPixel 3 is a rollercoaster of satisfaction and disgust

McPixel 3 is a glorious mishmash of ludicrous puzzles that won't fail to get a reaction from you, one way or another. To be clear, I mean this in an entirely positive way, but undoubtedly some will find pissing on a fire to put it out, putting a bomb up an animal's butt, and crawling through a man's intestines to reach freedom, not exactly their cup of tea. These are just some of the many ways I had to solve the various puzzles in McPixel 3, and for some reason... this odd approach to puzzlers keeps me wanting to play more.
It's easy to get the hang of McPixel 3. I had around ten seconds to one minute to finish each puzzle and save the day. It usually involved interacting with the various items on the screen and coming up with a wacky solution to the problem. The more outside of the box my thinking, the more correct I was most of the time. Though admittedly, my curiosity got the best of me plenty of times. I just wanted to see the animations after failing the puzzle.
And for a retro-styled pixelated game, those animations were fantastic, to say the least. The environments and puzzle activities were varied and kept me guessing what would be next. I went from being inside a Gameboy-esque atmosphere to racing a three-dimensional racecar with a bomb connected to it. It's all possible in McPixel 3!
The toilet humor was a bit much for me at times. I could only laugh at pissing on something before it became a bit played out, but I'm sure some will love that type of thing. Humor aside, this was a fun game that managed to distinguish itself with its unique puzzles, cool graphics, and even the music kept me jamming along. It's a good deal that's around a hundred puzzles for $2.99. Well worth the investment if you like puzzlers or crude humor in the least.
