2023 was one of the best years for new video games ever. Can 2024 possibly compare? It’ll be tough, but there are a ton of games either confirmed or likely to launch this year that we are unbelievably excited for. In fact, even just cutting the list down to forty was a challenge.

My wishlist for 2023 is Hollow Knight.
The indie game genre cannot be discussed without this game. Hollow Knight brought a new era of indie game industry, not only invigorating the indie game industry but also increasing the quality of indie games. It's graphic, gameplay and story is immeasurably fascinating, getting players absorbed into the game.
