Alright so we starting with Robin bc Robin is the greatest :>
✦Chapter 1: Marksman Robin✧
Once upon a time, there were two intelligent boys who lived in a poor village, named Jack and Robin. The residents of this village were forced to become thieves because they were far too poor to live otherwise. Out of all of them, Jack was the smartest thief - he chose the most difficult targets and escaped unscathed every time. Robin had been one of the thieves working with Jack, but as Jack grew more and more famous, Robin became jealous of Jack's exploits. As a result, he decided to do something else entirely. Since Robin was an extremely skilled marksman, he stopped stealing and gathered some of his fellow oppressed peasants to rise up against the rich. Robin also decided that, while Jack was unknown by everyone, Robin would become famous.
✦Chapter 2: The Marksman✧
Robin lived in a kingdom where the people suffered under the brutal king's reign. For example, one of the king's laws stated that all of the animals in the forests were the king's property and that anyone who was found hunting would be hung. One day, Robin had just finished robbing a wealthy nobleman and his carriage when he spotted someone hunting and eating a deer. Their name was Sitte. Surprised, Robin asked, "Aren't you afraid of being caught?" "I'm too starving to be afraid of that," Sitte replied. And so, Robin took Sitte to his secret base where he took many orphans to take care of them. Together, they claimed a small plot of land and grew crops, which they then used to feed themselves. Every night, the group would have fun, dancing by a bonfire. It seemed like the king's men would never find their base.
However, the guards eventually stumbled upon some of Sitte's tracks. When they followed them, the guards found Robin's secret base. One of the guards quietly shot an arrow at an orphan's head, killing them in the process. Outraged, Robin shot two arrows at him: one hit the guard's helmet so hard that it toppled him over, and the other slammed straight into his throat, causing blood to splash everywhere. The other guards fled in a panic, claiming that this would wasn't over...
✦Chapter 3: Cause of Exposure✧
Jack had started to grow tired of stealing. One day, while he was traveling around, he came across Robin. Jack found it weird how no one would hunt in a forest filled with wild animals, and he caught a few rabbits. Robin ended up taking Jack to their base, too. After they had been discovered, Robin and his group had moved many times. However, the guards kept finding them. If it weren't for Robin's excellent archery, all of them would've had their limbs chopped off, eyes gouged out, and hung immediately. Robin didn't trust Jack from the start - ever since he came along, the group hadn't been able to collect as much as they used to from robbing others. Robin didn't enjoy shooting animals or people, either. Jack's arrival had stretched the group's rations and the guards seemed to find them quicker than usual after he joined. Suspicious, Robin decided to keep an eye on Jack.
That night, Jack snuck out of the secret base and came back with a bulging sack. Judging by the look of the bag, Robin assumed there were gold coins inside. Filled with hatred, Robin decided to pin the blame for everything that had happened on Jack and drive him away, thus conserving resources and making Jack's popularity amongst the orphans plummet...
✦Chapter 4: The Break✧
As usual, a team of guards came to Robin's base the next day, armed to the teeth. Preparing to throw Jack to the wolves, Robin captured him and tied him up. For the first time, Robin directly fought his enemies. The guards were forced back by Robin's arrows. Once he thought it safe enough, Robin dragged Jack over to the guards. Seeing this confused the guards, since they thought Robin and Jack were working together. "Without this spy, you can't find us anymore! A thief always steals!" With that, Robin shot an arrow into Jack's cloak to prevent him from escaping. Ignoring the absolute anger in Jack's eyes, Robin walked away, humming as he went. It wasn't his problem, right? No big hero should care for a thief. Robin started to look for new places to relocate to, not the least bit worried about whether the guards would find them or not.
However, even more people were sent to capture Robin and his group after Jack was caught, which meant that there was another spy in the group.
✦Chapter 5: The Reputation✧
Robin and his group still had to look for more places to put their secret base, which winded up proving Jack's innocence. The orphans became suspicious of Robin and started to disobey his orders. They thought that Robin cared more about his reputation than helping the poor. One day, Robin was confronted by the king's Knight Commander, but he was unable to fight back because the orphans had tampered with his bow and arrows. Robin managed to escape, but he was heavily wounded...and he would never forget how Sitte had surrendered to the Knight Commander.
Robin moved to a different kingdom after that and built himself a new bow. However, the poor there had heard about his deeds and refused to take anything he offered. The rich would only guard against Robin and not Jack. Turned hateful and miserable by this turn of events, Robin wandered about a dark and gloomy forest, hunting the demons that lived there. Intending to create a bow of dark power, he filled it with the essence of the demons he killed. Rumor had it that anything shot by Robin's arrows would be struck with mind-searing pain, and animals certainly weren't the things that he aimed for. Whenever people talked about Robin, they would also talk about Jack. They never wanted to hear about how Robin treated animals. They only wanted to hear about the history between Robin and Jack...
