If that goddess from the opening scene didn't give you waifu vibes, I don't know what will--if you haven't played the game then SUCKS TO BE YOUUUUU!!! (exclamation marks for extra emphasis)
Hello everyone. I'm here again with another banger game to give you his unsolicited but nonetheless vital impressions for. We talking about Wuthering waves people and somewhere down the line I'll let you know if it has wonderful oppai or not
Wuthering waves is a gacha mmorpg from Kurogames--the makers of my other favorite game, Punishing grey raven and is the latest addition to the open-world mobile scene about yet another post apocalyptic scene. Frankly speaking I've got to applaud apocalypses. They've given us the most virtuous, thirst-causing, eternal make-up wearing, styled, real full hair flaunting, mind turning, giant milkers-bearing waifus ever. It kinda makes you wonder if it would be so bad to let happen with all the evidence provided...where's that nuclear bomb?
DISCLAIMER: It is an online Arpg not an Mmorpg
I had a lot of fun playing this game. I personally would have liked the characters to smile wider and that there be more unrelated but fun side quests for me to waste time on before returning to the main game but in the absence of that and a double jump--which lead to having to figure out a complicated way to summon the glider so I could do a cool ground slam from it as I noticed from the intro clip--I'd say this game is pretty neat
Getting Lingyang within moments of getting the game was a dream. I am usually a swordsman spammer but this time I decided to pick a new main and I am loving his game style. Comboing with him is satisfying and traversing a big map while punching everything in sight is even more so. I know them turtle hate me at this point but Ima keep on punching
With great graphics, awesome battle--mechanics like no other gacha mmorpg--and smooth gameplay, the only issues I have with the game is the unreasonable wall you see when you get to the first city. Based on its placement, it serves no defensive purpose, wastes the sound provision of an encompassing moat, offers no real use as a fortification and looks kinda stupid to me as anything more than an accessory. Then there's the fact that the storyline here is no masterpiece. SERIOUSLY! I am tired of our main character "losing their memories." Why must they be using removable MicroSDs for saving stuff? Why not give them brains? My mom used to whoop my head up and about when I was younger. Imagine if my brain formatted everytime...YOU WOULDNT BE READING THIS AWESOME NEAR COSMIC SATIRE WITH A SPRINKLING OF THE WORD "OPPAI" HERE AND THERE!
Games like Grimvalor and Eternium captivate you with their tales. Pascals wager and Animus stand alone also have deep compelling stories and I dont see that here. You could argue that the aforementioned are single player games and I could respond that a game being online and multi-player doesn't mean it should throw amazing world building out the window even if it is a ten over ten in everything else
👍 Pros:
☆ Great graphics
☆ Good looking oppai--not flabbergasting in sheer volume but well done in its realistic proportioning and that is still a win so far as I am concerned
☆ Crazy battle mechanics. I can switch mid air and den do a ground slam combo. LEGENDARY IT IS!!!
☆ Very nice ost
☆ Slightly better internet connection than Tower of fantasy--believe me, it's a win
REDO FOR THE ABOVE: No it aint. It's mostly single player. It should never be below 30ms if you ask me
👎 Cons:
《 Better than most--no exergeration here--and yet generic story telling:
This is not yet the explosion in the brain causing, interest clutching, tinkling in the balls causing spin we've been looking for. WE NEED GREAT NOT GOOD! I wonder when we get a mature ecchi mmo with SAO season 1 level story telling though...forget you read that!
《 Misprotioned body parts:
If you have an eye for detail you will (or would have if you've played the game) notice a strangeness about the legs and thighs which is more noticeable when they run--especially rover. It downright threw me for a bit. If you didn't notice it then, I'm sorry for revealing that reality for you
《 I'd have preferred more side quests over endless mini games as that would have made me engaged with the world instead of hooked on progression
Overall, this game is the best we have on the mobile scene for free-to-play gacha mmorpgs (*coughs* arpg). It is fluid, beautiful and the party mechanics just add so much to the gameplay that it can't easily be put into words
Have I mentioned you can transform into bad guys and be like, "f**k you, I AM YOU"--yuji said that--while beating on the enemy?

Wuthering Waves is NOT an mmo. Its a single player game.

Author likedYup, I am completely baffled as to why must popular TapTap creators like Mmo Byte is making this game and mentioning it as anything but "MMORPG" it's clearly pointed at the download page that it is a single player "ARPG" which means action rpg against programmed opponents, I don't know why many creators are spreading misinformation deliberately.
