Evertale: A Thorough Review
Genre: RPG
TapTap
Overview:
"Evertale" developed by ZigZaGame inc. is a mobile Pixel RPG that draws players into the cursed world of Erden, where you play as the main protagonist in the plot capturing monsters and training them while uncovering the secrets of the curse.
The game blends in both story-driven element to strategic turn-based combat, "Evertale" offers solid engaging experience, reminiscent of classic monster-catching games like Pokémon series but with its unique twists.

5/5 Aspects:
TapTap
1. Story-Driven Adventure:
Immersive World: Set in the rich, fantasy world of Erden, players embark on a journey to save the land from an ancient cataclysm known as the Pandemonium.
TapTap
Compelling Characters: Diverse characters, each with their own backstory and motivations, enhance the narrative depth.
TapTap
2. Monster Capture and Training:
Extensive Collection:  Close to 180 types of creatures and heroes to capture, train, and evolve, allowing a variety of strategies and team compositions.
Unique Abilities: Each monster and hero comes with distinct abilities, allowing for complex and strategic gameplay.
TapTap
3. Turn-Based Combat:
Strategic Depth: Battles require careful planning and execution, rewarding players who master the game's mechanics.
Team Synergies: Customizing teams to create effective synergies is both challenging and rewarding.
4. Online PvP and Guilds:
Competitive PvP: Real-time player-versus-player battles add a layer of competitiveness, a lot unfair for no-spenders.
Guild Activities: Joining guilds provides access to exclusive events and collaborative challenges as well as considerable rewards.

5. Visuals and Soundtrack:
Stunning Graphics: Vibrant, JRPG-style graphics bring the world and characters to classic life.
Engaging Soundtrack: A captivating soundtrack complements the fantasy setting, enhancing the overall experience.
Soul Stone Fountain: Is a fantastic feature implemented in the game; allowing players to invest their soul stones (gacha currency) and receive 2x and more guaranteed returns the more you invest the better the returns are going to be making the game more welcoming towards; especially the free to play base.
———
3/6 Aspects:
1. Gacha System and Pay-to-Win Elements:
TapTap
Monetization Pressure: The gacha system can frustrate players, as obtaining top-tier characters often requires spending real money.
Resource Scarcity: Limited in-game resources can delay progress, pushing more and more players towards card swips.
No Pity System: As majority isn't lucky enough to get their five stars at twenty or thirty rolls, you imagine rolling on a gacha that claim no guarantee of ever giving the character mentioned exclusively, not adding this feature, in this era of heavy RPG reliant gaming, earning this point a disaster rating.
2. Grind and Repetition:
Repetitive Gameplay: Farming for resources and leveling up characters is important but can become tedious, making the game more "Less is Better" .
Event Grind: Special events often require extensive grinding, which can be monotonous.
3. Difficulty Spikes:
Inconsistent Difficulty: Sudden difficulty spikes can feel designed to encourage spending on stronger characters or items.
Balancing Issues: Overpowered characters can dominate, reducing the viability of others and limiting team diversity.
4. Limited Energy System:
TapTap
Energy Constraints: The energy system restricts continuous play, requiring players to wait for energy to recharge or use premium currency.
5. Lack of Content Updates:
Slow : Infrequent updates can make the game feel stale over time.
Recycled Content: Repetition in events and challenges can lead to a lack of fresh and exciting content.
6. Story and Dialogue:
TapTap
Mediocre Writing: Some players find the story and dialogue lacking in depth and originality.
Predictable Plot: The narrative can follow familiar tropes, lacking innovation.
Overall Rating: 5.8 /10
Conclusion:
The game itself offers an engaging combination of monster-catching, strategic battles, and a rich story-driven adventure where you get to experience stunning visuals and compelling soundtrack which in turns create an immersive experience.
However, the heavy reliance on a gacha system, potential pay-to-win mechanics, repetitive grind and little to no endgame content can detract the game from its appeal. Players who enjoy deep RPG mechanics and don't mind the monetization model may find "Evertale" a worthwhile journey, while others may be put off by its mediocre aspects.

Exactly, we're like minded people I guess; the storyline untill the first online clearance still remains one of the most appealing point of the game .
