Black Myth: Wukong is one of the best games i have played this year and is probably my Game Of The Year!!!

The game is an action RPG with some souls-like elements, but from my experience it is not a souls like in the traditional sense and is more accessible than souls games in general.

Character & Development

The character customization is pretty simple yet great for an action RPG, you have gear & weapons to craft & equipment that give different buffs and stats boosts based on each one, some even have set boost if you are wearing 2,3 or 4 of the same equipment.

Most gear is cartable after obtaining material from bosses you defeated throughout the campaign, and there are so many of them to find and battle.

You can also obtain many skills and abilities as you progress through the game, these range from abilities that deal damage, transformations, stats boosts and much more.

As you progress through the story and campaign you will get more different skills to use in battle, each Core Skill can be gained through the story and upgraded even more in the skill page as you gain skill points.

The Shrines act as save & rest points for the player and they offer alot of things such as:

• Crafting Weapons & Armor.

• Make medicine (gives buffs and healing).

• Travel between other shrines and areas.

• Change your skills and abilities.

The game also offers these Spirits you can gain from defeating multiple strong/ special enemies around the different areas, these can act as mini transformations that also offer stats boosts based on their nature, these can be upgraded to deal more damage and give bigger stats boosts.

Visuals and Graphics

This game is extremely beautiful and the visuals in the different areas as well as the graphics are just incredible to behold, i found myself taking pictures and videos of almost every area i came across and the game has many if them (Forest Area, Desert Area, Snow area…) just to name a few.

Overall Opinion & Rating

Black Myth: Wukong is great plain and simple and i would recommend it to anyone and everyone! This studio has made something beautiful and unique.

The game is not without flaws but i have never encountered anything that made me want to stop playing! Everything made me want to play more and more of it!

This game is a 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (MUST TRY!)

Note: for the best experience i found that using an interactive map is key, it will help you find all the hidden stuff and bosses and clear the areas whole since the game doesn’t have an in-game map.
