Neverness to Everness is a supernatural open-world RPG by Hotta Studio. You play as the first "unlicensed" Anomaly Hunter in Hethereau and join the antique shop Eibon to take on Anomaly commissions. Explore urban mysteries with your diverse partners, and create your own urban saga.
【Question 1】
**Q:** I noticed in the PV there was a scene where the player encountered a monster while driving and then entered combat. Is this something that only happens in specific story events, or can it be triggered randomly during gameplay by meeting certain conditions?
**A:** Actually, both anomaly events shown in the previous PV can be experienced in the current offline demo. These types of events occur on the open world map and require players to meet specific conditions, such as time and actions, to trigger.

【Question 2】
**Q:** How do you design NPC behavior and interactions in the game to enhance the player's immersion and make the game world feel more realistic?
**A:** We believe that NPC behavior in a city needs to consider two layers of logic:
First, each NPC follows their own behavioral path. For example, a commuter without an umbrella should sprint home when it rains, and drivers should obey traffic rules.
Second, we must consider how NPC behavior changes when the player intervenes. For instance, if a player blocks the road while driving, it could cause a traffic jam along the entire street.
For an open-world urban setting, the more attention to such details, the better. We will continue to refine this aspect to bring more interesting NPC interactions in the future.

【Question 3】
**Q:** Will there be a unique dormitory system? Dorm system! Dorm system! A fully customizable dormitory! *Tower of Fantasy* didn't have this, so hopefully, this game will. I'd love to see outfit changing integrated into the dormitory system, and maybe even a base system.
**A:** In our main storyline, players will indeed obtain a "dormitory." However, your assets in Hethereau City will extend far beyond that.
In the future, we plan to open various types of purchasable properties, with rich interactive content and DIY customization options. You can also invite friends over to your house. Please look forward to it!

【Question 4】
**Q:** Will you fairly cater to both solo players and those who prefer multiplayer? As a solo player, I really hope I won’t have to team up for dungeons.
**A:** In our design, multiplayer features will be an optional "spice" in your life in Hetro City, not a necessity. There is currently no forced social or team-based content. You are free to enjoy exploring and battling solo.
---
【Question 5】
**Q:** Will the game support controllers? I hope it includes full controller features like vibration, gyroscope, and linear triggers. My hype level is maxed!
**A:** Rest assured, we have been working on multi-platform control system tuning all along. We welcome everyone to use controllers during the first test to experience the game!
I was so excited for the first question only for the answer to be what essentially comes down to "Both events can occur in the demo and require conditions like time and actions to trigger" which doesn't really tell us much, like by "action" do they mean accept a mission, or maybe even enter a specific mode where those events occur. In other words, it's nothing more than we could figure out on our own.
