INTRODUCTION
Racing Master, developed by Netease, aims to deliver an authentic motorsport experience with realistic physics, stunning visuals, and deep car customization. But does it truly deliver? After spending hours with the game, here’s my full review, covering both the highs and the lows.
---
First Impression
One of Racing Masters biggest strengths is its graphics. The game runs on Unreal Engine, giving it realistic lighting, highly detailed car models, and beautifully crafted race tracks. The attention to detail—like reflections on the car’s surface, dynamic shadows, and realistic weather effects—makes it one of the best-looking mobile racing games I’ve played.
Tracks take players through diverse environments ranging from city streets to mountain roads, and each race feels visually immersive. However, while the game looks amazing, I did notice occasional frame rate drops on older devices, especially when racing at high speeds.

GAMEPLAY & MECHANICS
Racing Master offers smooth and responsive driving mechanics, focusing on strategic braking, controlled drifting, and acceleration timing. Unlike arcade-style racers where you can floor the accelerator, this game demands more precise driving skills. Mastering corners and executing perfect turns feels rewarding, making each race exciting.
However, the progression system feels bloated. Racing is frequently interrupted by pop-ups, upgrade menus, daily login rewards, and currency collection, making the game feel more like a grinding simulator than a pure racing experience.
Game Modes
• Carrer Mode – Follow a structured racing path and build your reputation.
• Time Attack Mode – Compete to set the best times on different tracks.
• Multiplayer Mode – Race against real players in online competitions.
One issue I had was the race length—some tracks were too short, ending before the action truly got intense. A few races lasted just a few turns before the finish line, making them feel anticlimactic.

CAR CUSTOMIZATION
One of my favorite aspects of Racing Master is car customization. Players can:
• Upgrade engines, tires, and brakes for better performance.
• Modify body kits, spoilers, underglow lighting, and even headlight colors.
• Tune handling settings to suit their racing style.
While customization is extensive, the upgrade system relies on multiple in-game currencies, making progression slow and grind-heavy unless you spend money. This can be frustrating, as it limits how quickly you can improve your car.
----
SOUND DESIGN
One of the underrated aspects of Racing Master is its sound design, which enhances the immersion of each race.
• Engine Sound – Each car has a distinct engine sound, with deep rumbles for muscle cars and high-pitched revs for sports cars. The gear shifts and turbo boost effects feel satisfying, making acceleration and top speeds more thrilling.
• Tire Screeches & Braking Effects – When cornering at high speeds, you can hear the rubber gripping or skidding, which adds realism to the driving experience.
• Environmental Sounds – Racing through city streets includes subtle background noise, such as distant traffic and wind resistance. While these details help with immersion, they could be more dynamic, as some tracks feel a bit too quiet.

PROS ✅
✅ Stunning graphics – Among the best visuals in mobile racing games.
✅ Realistic driving physics – A good mix between arcade and simulation.
✅ Deep car customization – Plenty of tuning and aesthetic options.
✅ Varied tracks – Beautiful city streets, highways, and mountain roads.
✅ Multiplayer mode – Compete against real players for added excitement.
✅ Immersive sound effects – Good engine sounds and environmental details.
CONS ❌
❌ Short races – Some tracks end too quickly, limiting the thrill.
❌ Excessive monetization – Too many microtransactions slow down progression.
❌ Cluttered progression system – Too many currencies, menus, and pop-ups.
❌ Frame rate drops on older devices – Performance may struggle at high speeds.

OVERALL
Racing Master is a visually stunning mobile racing game with solid driving mechanics and deep car customization. However, its short race lengths, heavy monetization, and cluttered progression system hold it back from being truly great.
If you love racing games and don’t mind grinding or spending money, Racing Master is worth playing. But if you’re looking for a pure, skill-based racing experience without distractions, you might find the free-to-play mechanics frustrating.
