Shadowverse World Beyond - From Classic SV to SVWB: A Step Down?.. What Are You Doing, Cygames!

After spending a few hours on Shadowverse: World Beyond (SVWB), I gotta admit, the disappointment hit hard. Especially after realizing all my favorite leaders are just... gone.

1. Trash optimization
I’m on a phone with a Dimensity 8400 Ultra, and in open-world mode I only get 20–40 FPS. Plus, the device heats up like crazy, even hotter than when I play Genshin or Wuwa. Sure, it's a new release, but still, this isn’t great.

2. Rupies inflation is real
At first it feels fine since dailies give more, but in practice? Not so much. For example, in AI mode, back in classic SV, you could get 30–50 pulls after finishing AI challenges. Now? Barely 10. And weekly quests only give 250 rupies, which is comsidering one gacha pull costs 500. It’s like they’re being generous with one hand and robbing you with the other.

3. Spark system got way stingier
In classic SV, if you sparked a leader, you’d get all the goodies, wallpaper, chibi, etc. Now? You only get to pick one. At 250 pity it's random, and even at 350 for selector, you still only get one reward. Honestly feels like a downgrade and a bit of a slap in the face.

4. Titles & sleeves didn’t fully carry over
I linked my old account, but some pretty cool titles like “Cross Craft Champion” and “Anniv Champion” didn’t show up in SVWB. Only “Challenge Master” made it through. Not the end of the world, but still disappointing. Some sleeves didn’t carry over either.

5. Liquify got nerfed
Liquify used to be clutch for progression, but now it’s “adjusted,” and you can’t just liquify freely anymore. Progress feels way slower compared to the old SV.

Leaders gone, titles gone, sleeves gone, rupies inflated, optimization sucks, liquify nerfed... no surprise people are upset. Wouldn’t be shocked if SVWB’s rating going down, Really hoping Cygames listens and improves things, because the game could be great.
