Piranha plants sang in perfect harmony. Some of them even jumped out of their pipes so that they could shake what their mama gave them. After nearly forty years of smashing blocks and stomping on Goombas, it feels like Mario’s done everything he could possibly do: He’s piloted an airplane, rode multiple dinosaurs, fought sumo wrestlers, turned himself into a human balloon, and dressed up like everything from a penguin to a cat. But this year, after a long, painful wait, Mario finally returned in his first 2D adventure in more than a decade, and somehow, the series feels more innovative than ever.

Very underated game! Even though theres many typos and bad grammar, the plot and especially the gameplay is very fun and unique!

SHOULD I PLAY SUPER MARIO RPG? That depends. Do you like feeling joy? Do you get a kick out of taking part in pure, unabashed, childlike glee and wonder? If yes, then duh, absolutely jump into the wonderful world of Super Mario RPG as soon as possible. But if you’re more of a Bowser-esque figure who prefers ruining the day for innocent toadlings, or if you prefer your RPGs avoid cracking jokes at all costs, then maybe this one just isn’t for you. Or maybe this will be the game that finally breaks through the thick, Grinch-esque barrier of cynicism and unhappiness you’ve surrounded yourself in. Who knows?

You're never too old to enjoy a classic experience, I probably wouldn't have said that earlier this week. However, I finally decided it was time to take up a series of older titles than what I'm used to playing and see where things lead me. I can't believe how really entertaining these games are, even after more than 20 years! They're as vivid, exciting, and innovative as ever!
