You know the feeling. The clock is ticking down in Defuse. Your whole team is stalled, staring at a smoke-filled chokepoint. Someone has to go first. Someone has to make something happen.
That someone is the Entry Fragger.
Being the entry isn't just about having cracked aim or being the first one to die. It's a science, an art form. It's about taking space, gathering info, and setting your team up for the win. Before you go full-send into the objective in Ace Arena again, let's break down what separates the true playmakers from the first-round feeders.
TapTap

1. Your K/D Doesn't Matter. The Round Does.

Let's get one thing straight: your primary job isn't to top the leaderboard. It’s to get the opening pick and create space. If you push a site, take out one defender, and die, but your team follows right behind to trade the kill and secure the objective? That's a massive win. You did your job perfectly.
An entry who goes 1-for-1 is infinitely more valuable than a lurker who gets two useless exit frags after the bomb has already exploded. Forget your stats; focus on the impact.

2. Your Utility is Your Best Friend, Not an Accessory.

That flashbang in your pocket isn't for celebrating after a round. It's your door-knocker.
  • Pop-flash: Learn to bounce flashes off walls so they explode right as they enter an enemy's line of sight, giving them zero time to react.
  • Clear Angles: Use grenades or molotovs to force a defender out of a common hiding spot ("rat spot") so you don't have to face-check it.
  • Communicate: Yell it out! "Flashing site! Pushing in 3... 2... 1... GO!" This lets your team know it's time to follow you in and trade you if you fall.
Pushing a site dry (without utility) is just asking to get one-tapped.

3. Hesitation is Death. Commit.

The moment you decide to push, you commit. There's no half-sending it. Don't stop in the middle of a doorway or stutter-step once you're in the open. The defenders' crosshairs are already aimed at that exact spot.
Your job is to be a chaotic, aggressive, and unpredictable force. Push past the first angle to a secondary position of cover. Your speed and decisiveness will throw off the enemy's aim and buy your team precious seconds to flood in behind you.

How This Works in Ace Arena

  • In Defuse Mode: When you're attacking the 'A' site on our upcoming map 'Station', don't just run straight in. Flash over the main box, push wide to clear the corner behind it, and let your teammate plant the bomb while you hold the flank. You create the chaos; they secure the win.
  • In Control Mode: The enemy team has the point locked down. A coordinated push is the only way to break it. As the entry, you're the first one in. Your goal isn't to live forever on the point; it's to break their setup, get a key kill on a defender, and force them to look at you while your teammates clean up from other angles.
Being the tip of the spear is a high-pressure, high-reward role. It takes guts. But when it works, it’s the most satisfying feeling in any FPS.
