It is a fast-paced and colorful 2.5D action platformer developed by indie studio Summitsphere and published by Joystick Ventures; it was initially released in 2024.

1) STORYLINE: The main protagonist is Dynamite Anton, a demolition worker with an explosive temper and a love of alcohol. One day, his most unlikely enemy enters the scene: Satan. Satan, obsessed with his own image, discovers through a magic mirror that Anton's skin is even redder than his own. Offended and jealous, he decides to take revenge by orchestrating a diabolical plan. He therefore orders his army of moles called Ballbusters to steal Anton's collection of spirits and lure him to his kingdom. From that moment on, a crazy adventure begins. Anton, together with his colleague Dynamite Annie, travels through numerous levels filled with enemies, traps, and bosses to recover every stolen spirit. During their journey, the protagonists visit different environments and frequently return to their main hub, Brulo's Casino, from where they can set off on new missions. The ultimate goal is to recover all the bottles and directly face Satan in a final showdown to put an end to his vengeance.

2) GAMEPLAY: We can choose between Anton or Annie, traversing levels by destroying obstacles, eliminating enemies, and collecting objects. Among the main mechanics are: Clutch Dash, Hammer Vault, Slingshot, and Atomic Blast. Throughout the levels, you collect tokens, crates, and sprays that are used to obtain power-ups or unlock content in the hub casino. A unique mechanic is the final phase of the level called "Happy Hour": after activating a detonator, a countdown begins and you must return to the beginning of the level before everything explodes, following a modified path compared to the initial one. This structure makes the gameplay very fast-paced and full of adrenaline.

3) PERSONAL CONCLUSION: Its cartoonish graphic style and over-the-top humor make it a fun and memorable title, especially for those who love old-school action platformers. It's not a game that focuses on a complex plot, but on energy and pure fun. If you like fast-paced, destructive, and character-filled games, Antonblast is definitely a title worth trying.
