The Wild Rift League Asia (WRL) Season 2 is near the corner. Organized by Riot Games, the regional league for Wild RiftEsports in Asia will kick off its Season 2 on the 1st of November 2023.
Teams A total of 19 teams will be divided into two conferences namely the WRL CN and the WRL APAC. The teams are as follows.

WRL Asia Season 2: Schedule and Format
WRL Asia Season 2 will have three stages in its run. Divided into two conference leagues, a total of 20 teams will battle it out in a single-round robin format where all the matches will be played in a BO3 format. The top 8 from the CN Conference and the top 4 from the APAC Conference will be qualified for the Playoffs.
  • Regular Season  - November 2nd - December 24th, 2023
  • 20 teams plays in geographical rule:
  • Single Round-Robin against teams in the same conference
  • 1 match each against half of the teams in the other conference.
  • It must be noted that teams will play against the team from the other conference that they haven't met during Season 1.
  • All matches are played in a Bo3
  • Top 8 in CN Conference and Top 4 in APAC Conference will be qualified for Playoffs.
  • Playoffs - January TBD, 2024
  • Teams play a Double Elimination within their conference
  • In CN Conference, top 4 teams starts at Upper Bracket, while the other 4 starts at Lower Bracket.
  • In APAC Conference, all 4 teams starts at Upper Bracket.
  • All matches are played in a Bo7
  • Top 2 in each Conference will be qualified for Finals.
  • Finals - January TBD, 2024
  • Round Robin Stage - January TBD, 2024
  • Single Round-Robin
  • All matches are played in a Bo1
  • Winners will be qualified for Grand Final
  • Runners-up will be qualified for Semifinal
  • The remaining 2 teams will be qualified for Quarterfinal
  • Knockout Stage - January TBD, 2024
  • Single Elimination King of the Hill
  • Quarterfinal is played in a Bo3
  • Semifinal is played in a Bo5
  • Grand Final is played in a Bo7

The First Professional League of Wild Rift to Kick off on March 19th
The league for League of Legends: Wild Rift (WRL) will debut at 17:00 on March 19th. Right now, a total of 12 teams are slated for the upcoming competitions. On the first day, FPX will be in a matchup with TT, while JT competes against KBG and EDG competes against RNG. The other six participants are JDG, NV, OC, OMG, WBG and WHG.  For the competition system, the first stage of the Split will start on March 19th and end on April 10th. All matches are played in Bo3. The top six teams will enter the Challenger Group, and the bottom six teams will enter the Breakout Group.

The anticipation for the launch of League of Legends: Wild Rift in India continues, with no official statement yet from Riot Games regarding its release date. When is League of Legends: Wild Rift Released League of Legends, a renowned multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed by Riot Games, has amassed a global following. Given the expanding mobile gaming market, developers decided to create a mobile adaptation of this iconic game. League of Legends: Wild Rift was originally slated for release on October 27th, 2020 but was delayed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. After conducting beta testing in select regions, the game finally saw a global launch on October 8th, 2021.

WRL: JDG and OMG Earned the Final Two Playoffs Spots
Two additional matches were held yesterday in the WRL Spring Split to decide the two last two spots for the Spring Playoffs. The results are that JDG defeated OC 3:1 and OMG beat RNG in a tough 3:2 series .In detail, in the first series, OC won the first round, but JDG bounced back in the second. In round three, at four minutes, OC’s Lee Sin achieved a double kill near the pit of Rift Herald. Twelve minutes later, JDG aced OC, taking victory in this round.
