Simply put, this is a slower-paced iteration of the Visual Novel genre similar to things like Night in the woods, very engaging, and emotionally connecting with your moral responsibility to the authority and yourself in this dystopian society.

It seems absurd to think that a Sonic the Hedgehog game could finally be decent after so many years of awful releases that are only successful because they've become a running joke. However, this is a free-to-play adventure starring all of your favorite Sonic characters are on a train where Sonic has been killed, and you must figure out who did it. For an April fools joke, this wasn't that funny.

If we were to compare this to the original suckers for love, what is presented here is just so much more engaging as you attempt to wriggle yourself free or even closer to this caged and cursed Eldritch mommy town to save yourself your family and humanity. While borderline sexual, it offers a great story.

While I personally couldn't get around the whole opera theatrical singing portions of the experience as they were rather up and down all of the time. I can say the story was absolutely amazing as well as the voice acting. A story of greek gods and a humans fate being intertwined with them all.

Where the Music Dies is a free-to-play short story that explores themes of death, grief, and the capacity to eventually move on or not. It's really intriguing given that it's free, there are multiple-different endings, and there are some significant parallels between your choices in the end.

One of the most intriguing Visual Novels out of the whole list, despite the fact that it is a contentious topic of discussion among many people. The Coffin of Andy and Leyley is a visual novel that is currently in the process of being developed. It tells the story of a brother and sister who are both infected, just like everyone else in their complex, and are forced to try and survive together with minimal food. The plot is quite interesting, as it involves neglect from their parents, mental issues, and the strain they have to go through in order to survive.
