NetEase’s has decided to shut down 5v5 shooter, Operation Apocalypse on December 12, 2024
5K View2024-10-22NetEase Games has announced that they will shut down the service for their sci-fi 5v5 shooter title, Operation Apocalypse on December 12, 2024. The game was recently lunched in China on August 30, 2024.
Operation Apocalypse is a 5v5 multiplayer tactical shooting game which was similar to valorant ,built using Unreal Engine 4.
This game was supposed to be the successor to NetEase’s Hyper Front, which was also taken down in 2023 due to a lawsuit from Riot Games over its strong resemblance to Valorant.
Unfortunately, NetEase Games has recently announced on their official Weibo account that Operation Apocalypse will be shutting down because the game’s performance didn’t meet expectations .
All operations will closed on December 12, 2024, and you won’t be able to login to the game anymore.
The game’s download portal is already closed, and both game recharge and new player registrations have stopped. The game’s official website will shut down on December 12, 2024, at the same time the game’s service ends.
It’s unfortunate that the Operation apocalypse has great potential but the game failed to meet the expectations of developers.
Fans of the game are also unhappy to the decision made by NetEase, as many have purchased items with real and dedicated their time playing the game.
But NetEase has introduced a welfare plan to compensate players who invested time and money in the game:
- Android players can access in-game benefits for other NetEase titles, such as Knives Out and Firefly Assault.
- iOS users are encouraged to try a new NetEase game to continue their gaming experience.
- Unused in-game currency, Star Stones, can be used until the shutdown date. For players who purchased Star Stones with real money, these will be converted into equivalent points to be used in other NetEase games.

I told everyone that already. The game is to similar to Valorant. And was taken down a year and a half ago on mobile same game called Hyper Front. Just a different name.

this app is nothing but a bunch of shutdown games. so what's the point. rainbow six mobile. that's literally it. the rest is all garbage that doesn't work . lol . pointless. uninstalling in 3...2....
