Prince of Persia franchise is one the franchise that we still love, I still play that old Prince of Persia games The Sands of Time and The Shadow and the Flame you can play this as many time as you want and this games never bored you. For years, i was waiting for a new Prince of Persia side scrolling game, I like 3D games to but my love for classic side scrolling Prince of Persia games on next level, game that truly feels worthy of the franchise’s legacy.
Ubisoft always experimented with different styles from classic platforming to full 3D action but now, with Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, they’ve given us something that blends old-school Metroidvania gameplay with modern combat and exploration. This game is filled with stunning visuals, smooth platforming, and the story's of Persia.

Overview
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is a side scrolling action adventure game developed by Ubisoft Montpellier. Unlike recent Prince of Persia titles that focused on full 3D action, this game returns with franchise’s iconic 2D gameplay, bringing the fast-paced platforming, precision combat, and an expansive world filled with puzzles and secrets.
In game You play as Sargon, a young warrior from the Immortals (not true immortals just group name), the elite fighters of the Persian Empire. The story start When Prince Ghassan was kidnapped, Sargon (you) and your companions set out to rescue him, only to find yourself trapped in Mount Qaf, a cursed city where time itself is broken. As you explores, you uncovers ancient secrets, powerful relics, and a deeper conspiracy that could change everything.

Gameplay Mechanics
Prince of Persia games always been about fluid movement, acrobatic combat, and puzzle solving, and this game takes these elements to a whole new level. This game have Fast, responsive platforming, Every jump, wall-run, and ledge grab feels smooth and precise in the game, and this franchise always about Parkour so you can Use air dashes, double jumps, and environmental interactions to navigate complex areas. And game also have time powers not like The Sandsreversal but similar,  Time powers also evolve as you progress in the game, you also need to Solve puzzles and escape traps using time manipulation abilities like teleportation and time reversal, the thing I most liked  that is This isn’t just a linear platformer like old games you need to revisit areas with new powers, unlocking hidden paths and secrets.

The Combat is A Perfect Mix of Speed and Strategy, Sargon is wielding twin blades for fast, fluid attacks. Each enemy is different some is armored guards some is supernatural creatures so be fast and Boss battles are intense so be ready.

How It Feels to Play
First Every fight feels satisfying attacks are fast, fluid, and responsive that I always want in game, Movement is fast all time in wall-running, dodging traps, or teleporting past enemies everything is fast. And like every Metroidvania game there's many hidden paths and secrets are everywhere, waiting to be discovered and when discover them you will get new power's.

Graphics & Sound
Game have A stunning art style that blends 2D and 3D both together, Every background is fully detailed, and every character is beautifully animated I love it. The world is inspired by Persian mythology so you see ancient temples to cursed ruins, each location tells a story.
Game soundtrack is great this blends traditional Persian instruments with modern orchestration, creating an epic, cinematic experience, and Great voice acting this brings the story to life, making every conversation feel real.

Story & Characters
I try my best to not give you too much spoilers, game story follows Sargon, a young warrior and a member of The Immortals, the elite fighters of the Persian Empire. Trained for war and sworn to protect the kingdom, Sargon and his fellow warriors are called upon for a crucial mission rescue Prince Ghassan, the rightful heir to the throne, who has been kidnapped by some unknown Person. Then Sargon and his allies track the prince’s captors to Mount Qaf, an ancient and forbidden city lost to time, and Legends say Mount Qaf is cursed, a place where time itself is broken and reality shifts unpredictably but they are Determined to bring the prince back, Sargon and his team enter the lost city unaware that this mission will change their fate forever.

Replayability & Game Modes
Game have Metroidvania style exploration so after completing the game You can return to past locations with new abilities to open hidden areas, and the game have Skill based combat challenges so you can Test your reflexes against powerful bosses as many time as you want, and there also some hidden story details you can find this hidden details expand the story and world.

❎ If you’re expecting a full 3D action game, this 2.5D style may not be what you want
❎ The story, while good, takes time to fully unravel

I am giving this game 9 ⭐ this game is one of the best action-adventure game but I cuted the one ⭐ because game is too bright now we all want darkness that show today's real people. But the game respects the franchise’s legacy while adding fresh, exciting gameplay.
