Being one of the first new gacha games to release in 2024. Aetelier Resleriana takes the Aetelier series and turns it into a gacha game. Being developed by Koei Tecmo and Akatsuki Games they bring us a new experience using the Aetelier IP. This is my first impressions for this game so if youre a fan of the series this video will focus on overall first few hours playing this game and i do know this game is not even remotely close to what the actual games offer but i will be viewing this from a perspective of a gacha game amongst the sea of gachas out there and i did thoroughly enjoy this amongst the most that is out there and lets talk about the overall gameplay loops and mechanics to expect during your time playing this game.

SHOULD I PLAY ATELIER RESLERIANA? If you’re a big fan of the Atelier franchise or are looking for a cute, chill gacha game, Atelier Resleriana definitely deserves a closer look. That said, if you’re expecting a full-scale Atelier game, Resleriana might be a disappointment. Officially speaking, this is a mainline entry in the Atelier series, but it feels like a spin-off. There are no environments to explore, and the crafting system is stripped down and simplified. It’s a fun, appealing game, and I definitely enjoyed my time with it, but it doesn’t compare to

The game focuses on Resna and the group of adventurers and alchemists that she meets throughout her journey to unravel the mysteries of forgotten alchemy. I have to say that the graphics and character models are great while it still resembles what the series have shown till now. The combat gameplay is like most turn-based RPG games with your characters and the enemies taking turns throughout the battle. In Atelier Resleriana, your characters have three different skills based on their roles with different effects that can change the tide of battle when used properly.

I must commend the developers for creating a highly addictive and captivating game. However, they have done an excellent job of demonstrating the extent to which game balance can be compromised. By enabling players to purchase units and enhance them with real money, they enable these players to dominate the competition. This creates a highly unfair advantage for those who are willing to spend $100 to significantly increase their damage output, resulting in a game that heavily favors those who pay to win, since each card gets stronger the more you level them.

Atelier Resleriana: Forgotten Alchemy and the Polar Night Liberator is the next mainline entry in the long-running Atelier role-playing games that has you in the shoes of fledgling alchemist Resna who is trying to uncover the truth about the forgotten art of alchemy. Atelier Resleriana strips away the exploration and discovery integral to the Atelier games and jams its entire game into a boring menu system, boiling down the essence of its gameplay to simply navigating between pages to complete tasks.

This, is one of the best game I've ever seen. It has good graphisms amazing musics and also it gives me the same vibes as a consol video game, the kind of video game you play on a Nintendo switch , PS4 or an Xbox. Also the fact thatAlso the fact that girls are cute in thus game makes it easy to get into the story. Let's give this game a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 stars

It's a dance of offense, defense, and adaptability. The commanders can be directly ordered in battle and has abilities, which is a nice twist instead of having a main castle or tower to defend. The combat is diverse, featuring a range of units from swarming infantry to powerful tanks and gunships. Predicting opponent moves, managing resources, and countering threats create a thrilling dynamic that keeps players engaged and invested. Progression centers around collecting and upgrading cards, providing a sense of advancement without overwhelming new players. However, the reliance on card upgrades may pose a challenge for those seeking specific strategies, making it a PvP game that may alienate free-to-play players (or any player in general) seeking a fair chance on competing.

Open world and gacha(sus)turn based game. I thought it was gonna be the same as the one when you use the controller for combos. Can't wait.
