GAMEPLAY Straight to the point! The gameplay is the usual Metal Slug gameplay you know and love but with much more added fun to it ! There are so many characters , vehicles and weapons to choose from and play with, this also includes the many bosses you will meet and fight as well as the multiple different modes the game offers besides the main storyline. Charecters! There are some of the many characters the game give you as you progress, you can make a team of 3 as u finish the stages and fight bosses!

A new mobile game from a past favorite Arcade game to the many other platforms. This arcade game has a long history in the world of video games, and seeing it in this style, very much updated graphics and gameplay but also a Global version. Today, we are looking at a game called Metal Slug Awakening. Summary: Metal Slug: Awakening is a newly developed side-scrolling action shooting mobile game licensed by SNK, based on the essence of the legendary arcade masterpiece! With upgraded visuals that pay homage to its retro roots while introducing a fresh and captivating art style, the game brings a splendid visual presentation and abundant content, including a vast array of weapons, diverse battlefields, and various super-vehicles.

If you've ever been to a pizza place, laundromat, or mall, chances are you’ve seen an arcade cabinet before. Though a rare sight now, these wondrous machines would eat away time and your precious quarters in exchange for good ol’ retro fun. Among these machines, none quite hold a special place in my heart like the Metal Slug games. Metal Slug Awakening is the franchise’s big return to mobile devices everywhere ever since the games practically went dormant after Metal Slug XX. And unlike the now defunct mobile Attack and Defend games, Metal Slug Awakening plays similarly to old school arcade run’n’guns and will feel right at home in the hands of series’ veterans. It is actually fun to play. Nothing has changed, it just upgraded into a better version. Each mission makes me more excited and the graphics of this game is absolutely amazing! I didn’t experience any lag while playing this one. (just like before). What I love here is that I can play it with my friends and I actually invited my friends to play with me! Obviously, they loved the game as much as I do.

I have been playing this series since I was a child, and thanks to the play2 and the PSP I was able to replay the entire series, and now I know that a new chapter is out...I MUST HAVE IT

Weilin Li -- Superpixel In January, we participated in the test of Metal Slug: Awakening. This brand-new Metal Slug mobile game is authorized by SNK and developed by Tencent’s TiMi Studio. Its closed beta test began January 5th and ends February 4th. Compared with the original series, the mobile game has changed from the original pixel art to 3D graphics and has done an excellent job in optimization for mobile platforms. It also reproduced many classic levels from the previous Metal Slug works while enriching the gameplay with several new game modes.

For me Metal Slug has always been a very simple game, you pick a character, jump into mission and start shooting anything that move with a pistol while evading enemy projectile plus 1 hit and you're dead. Metal Slug: Awakening however doesn't follow that rule anymore, Character now has: HP bar. (Medkit spawn constantly during mission btw) Equipment for stats boost that need Upgrade. Reloadable Fully automatic Machine Gun, Bazooka and Shotgun that also need Upgrade. (Where's my starter Pistol SNK?)

One of the legendary classics finally landed on Android with high crisp graphics and amazing gameplay, just love it
