Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile delivers a true Warzone-style battle royale experience on smartphones, with familiar mechanics like Gulag, loadouts, and large-scale matches that feel close to the PC/console version. The gameplay is fast-paced and enjoyable, with solid controls and cross-progression adding value for existing COD players. However, the game has struggled with inconsistent performance, including frame drops, heating issues, and bugs—especially on many Android devices—which affected its overall reception. While it’s a strong concept and fun in short sessions, optimization problems and lack of long-term support held it back, ultimately leading to its shutdown in April 2026 after failing to meet expectations with mobile-first players
