Game: The Pixel Art previously known as (The Wandering Ark)
Platform: MOBILE
Genre: Sling-shot RPG / Steampunk / Gacha
Overview
I must admit that I was extremely addicted to the game when I first picked up the previous version, which was The Wandering Ark as I felt like it was a highly satisfyingly healthy Gacha game in which you do not have to spend a dollar on anything, unless you actually wanted to support the devs in providing you with countless hours of exciting PvE and PvP action.
When they said 33% likelihood of a pull, they meant it. This Gacha is generous. Characters will be pulled without unfair rates or problems. This game is focused about powering up and over leveling your units into high thermonuclear states, which would be terrible if you had to pay for them, but they give them away like candy for playing, even if you do choose not to use the pull system. You will always have units.
Very Important Note & Changes:
The greatest issue here is that this developer provides no client assistance. I'd been playing this game for a while when they abruptly shut down the previous app and released the new one under the title "The Pixel Ark." That's fine, but once you get into the game and realize they didn't send you a code to transfer your data and you've wasted money or weeks of your time on nothing, it becomes a serious issue.
While the game's client remained unchanged from before the transfer, there have been a few quality of life adjustments that assist you identify your current powers, and the ark customization tool is now available.
However, regardless of how fun and great this game was, as of 2/13/2024, the game is literally unplayable. The app will no longer launch I even kept it on for 24 hours just to see if I could get into the game again, no luck. If you've spent money on this game, it's all gone. You most likely will never see your account again with how terrible this games support has always been. There was literally nothing added but a cosmetic system for your ark that boosted your damage and health. While I hate what this game has become, I still stand by the fact that it was and always will to me be a fun and addicting game, however, moving forward, I will never touch this game again.
Graphics & Presentation
The combination of pixels and 3D images results in a highly impressive visual presentation. They were able to create a dynamic displaying of both features without appearing strange or out of place, which is a testament to the developers' talents!
The voice acting throughout the beginning of the game and that the translation is extremely inaccurate and does not correspond to what is being seen and is the only defect in the otherwise flawless presentation. Great music, addictive SFX and of course, so much to do with little to no restriction on your gaming.
Gameplay
A slingshot RPG is a game in which you fling units across the arena in a turn-based style, causing them to collide with other units and with each other. This causes chain reactions and special powers to be activated dependent on the affects of the units. Not only can you take on the challenges that are waiting for you, but you can also compete against other players in leader board challenges!
If you are not an active or engaged player, you can easily activate the idle mode for background play while you are farming up some material. If you are someone who enjoys pushing themselves to their limits, you can try your best to mix and match units in order to pull off some combos that would make even a power level gap of 20,000 seem like nothing, as this game is genuinely all about strategy, not just power.
Conclusion
There is something about this game that does things correctly, not in a selfish or corrupt way, and I haven't stopped playing it since I picked it up for the first time. Even after playing for 32 hours active and idle, I haven't stopped playing it. This gives the impression that the developers are actual individuals who are aware of what games should be like, rather than being corporate suits who are attempting to earn as much money as possible with as little effort as possible until the game eventually fades.
I strongly encourage you to give the game a try you could find it to be quite good!

Unfortunately it's all about lasting impressions. Which pushes us away. I still support anyone interested in playing, but can't see myself coming back after all that happen.
