I'd heard of the series, as well as other well-known JRPG games, but I never bothered to look into it because I wasn't very interested in playing non-PC games at the time.
It's direct and to the point, doesn't hold back monetarily, and comes from a well-known developer for a Gacha which for some people may come as a red flag, but hold on. It hits every note, even nostalgia for past games I haven't played in over a decade that being White Knight Chronicles 1 & 2 alongside Rogue Galaxy and even recent titles like the God Eater series where you hunt aragami!
The numerous daily missions, the hours spent harvesting for better gear, and the increasingly harder boss encounters will keep you riveted to the screen.
