Scalebound (PlatinumGames) -
An action role-playing game that was announced in 2014 and was supposed to be released in 2017. The game was delayed several times and was eventually canceled in 2017.
Silent Hills (Konami) -
A horror game that was announced in 2014 and was supposed to be released in 2015. The game was canceled in 2015 after Konami fired Hideo Kojima, the game's director.
Battlefield Mobile (Electronic Arts) -
A first-person shooter game that was announced in 2021 and was supposed to be released in 2022. The game was canceled in 2023. Battlefield Mobile was a highly anticipated mobile game that was supposed to bring the popular Battlefield franchise to mobile devices. The game was being developed by Industrial Toys, a studio that was founded by Alex Seropian, one of the co-founders of Bungie.
Battlefield Mobile was supposed to be a free-to-play game that would have featured large-scale battles with up to 128 players. The game was also supposed to have a variety of maps and modes, including the classic Conquest mode.
However, Battlefield Mobile was canceled in 2023, just a few months before it was supposed to be released. Electronic Arts did not give a reason for the cancellation, but it is likely that the game was not meeting the company's expectations.
The cancellation of Battlefield Mobile was a disappointment to many fans of the Battlefield franchise.
However, there are still a number of other great mobile games available, including Call of Duty: Mobile and PUBG Mobile.
I love what you say about battlefield... but so funny that you say "there are still other great games available...like COD mobile" like that terrible version of COD (or any version of COD) could ever satisfy a battlefield fan 🤣 lol. Great article 👍
