If you enjoy fighting games, especially those with tight controls, extremely detailed combo rotations, and inputs like Street Fighter, you must check out this game! Great visuals and character designs.

It's unique and ridiculous with the soundtrack and effects, when it's not just being extremely catchy and ever-so-annoying playing in the background all the time. Clearly the developers seemed to show a lot of funny moments in the game that they most likely had a lot of fun creating, however, I would have liked to see a more solid ending transition as it was once again difficult to follow the story due to a lack of dialog being readable.

The platforming, feel, and visuals are all fantastic in this extremely polished Metroidvania, which has a very charming visual appearance. It's short, to the point for anyone looking for something to tide them over for a little.

A great game to play with friends or people you meet, but not very fun solo. Their Nintendo Lawsuit did nothing but propel it even higher than before with more promises for more content and of course Palworld Mobile!

A fantastic horror game that I want more of right now. If you're not familiar with Leef 6010, you might want to check out their prior Prologue "Project Kat"; it's only 45 minutes long but still a terrific playthrough!

Not every game needs to be a visually stunning rollercoaster of combat, bosses, and difficulties. Heroes of Eternal Quest was a surprisingly addictive combination of Loop Hero and other features such as city construction, deck creation, and even strategic tactical tower defense and summoning.

What is there to say, really? Contra will always be a terrific series, and Operation Galuga is an excellent game. It offers an incredible sense of nostalgia that will make any retro gamer's day. Even if you aren't familiar with the classics, there are plenty of hard and enjoyable levels!

The type cast truly promotes the idea of doing something different with a popular theme like Vampire Survivor replacing combat and the need to obtain materials primarily through Typing out letters and crazy Bullet Hell.

I have no complaints about this game, which is a mix of ripped Japanese voices from Blazblue. It also offers you incentive to continue pushing forward with how the evo / protos work in tandem with the story progression.

Overall, it's a good game; both games are rather inexpensive on their own. If you're like me, you enjoy any form of Tower Defense game, especially those that aim to be different from the conventional classics that include placing turrets and fortifications while surviving waves until you eventually fail or succeed.

In terms of story, it's an exciting thriller that tries to mix a horror game with a love story, so it's not really a dating sim. There are many potential endings, and if you want to acquire them all, it will take you several hours each time until you finally achieve your happy ending.

Classic 80s and 90s comedy and marketing combined with genuinely enjoyable game play that makes you want to play even more even if you're tired. The throwbacks to games like Galaga and many others things was fantastic.

So, from the front page of the game, it doesn't appear to be very appealing, because the design of the characters appeared to be more risqué than anything else. Like judging a book by its cover, I had the strangest feeling that this was going to be a game about bad gags and possibly some unappealing discussions as I tend to go into games blindly as to not spoil anything. But reality was, this was amazing!

Sure, MrSuicideSheep is extremely popular on YouTube, and some may argue that short video game like this should not be encouraged because it is already so popular. I disagree with that. It's nice to see a musical channel suddenly break out and do something different like this, but I still believe it should be supported because it's so good, and we might even get more out of it.

A pretty well-designed and portrayed game with many realistic circumstances, especially if you're someone who is dealing with general issues such as your own understanding of your current reality. The gameplay itself isn't particularly difficult; it's just a linear and straightforward puzzle solving of fighting and the use of weapons, shields, and armor. Solve the puzzle, finish the story, get one of the multiple endings, and try again later.

Definitely a great game though the title may scare off a bunch of individuals, it's wonderful to witness how each character develops over the adventure. Give it a chance, you might be surprised.

This is a fairly fun game with a lot of NewGrounds-related references. I know it's still alive these days, and a lot of creators began their careers on the site, generating absolute masterpieces throughout the years, but that doesn't mean it hasn't slowed down. Visually, this game is a fairly simple twin-stick action roguelike. Begin the run by moving left and right, dodging and jumping to kill creatures, meet intriguing individuals, and take down several bosses.

The gameplay is excellent throughout, with several challenges and daily events that provide infinite hours of demacracy and achievement. One of my pet peeves is how you'll sometimes be partnered up with that one highly skilled player with tons of awesome weapons and gear, at least when you first start out who will just finish every objective alone, making it feel as if you as a player did nothing to help make any progress in a map, that and the fact that leveling is a huge grind.

I believe the best way to describe this game is to think of combining Touhou with Bunny Girls and multiplayer, surrounded by Roguelike aspects and a plethora of challenging enemies and systems that will undoubtedly entertain you. What I enjoyed most about this was that it wasn't a dead game. You can load up and search through hundreds of lobbies or create your own, and people will join you because the game is engaging, and the community, while no one can speak or communicate with you, appears nice and enjoyable to play with even if you do end up getting hard carried.

I have a soft place for detective games, particularly those that need you to make decisions for yourself rather simply being told what is going on and how to solve it. Let Bions be Bygones is a futuristic take on a game like Disco Elysium, with the main character obsessed with alcohol, talking to himself, weapons, and inanimate objects in his head, but it doesn't feel like a mere copycat, and it actually has some pretty good dialogue and story to begin with rather than being overly confusing.

It's neither too complicated nor too simple; as you fulfill your objectives, the game begins to open up, allowing you to meet other kingdoms and form rivalries and alliances and to take on much more challenging objectives in exchange for rewards.

Weird Meese is the type of game you come across every now and then; a short but sweet project that can be completed in around 20-30 minutes and features some amusing and silly interactions. There's not much more to it than that, but great for a short but sweet chuckle.

Do you wish to channel the Simpsons' hit and run style of comedy and exploration? Then Terries has you covered. While it is more on the shorter side of things, it offers a ton of hilarious movements in a relaxing and cute world as you try to help Terry get to space!

It's only about an hour and a half long, so it's definitely something that could be expanded on in the future with different titles, perhaps with a little more difficulty for those who enjoy piecing together puzzles and investigations while remaining casual for those who prefer to play the story mode. But it was such a good experience.

Indigo Park hit me differently than other games in this genre. Chapter 1 feels more like an introduction to the series than a horror game, that being so damn full of charm, loneliness and desperation than horror. There are some tense and eerie moments, particularly atmospherically, but nothing on the level of excessive jump scares and screaming.

I may not enjoy Snufkin as much as those around me or you, but this game is a great condensed version of everything that Tove Jansson went through and represented over the long years of which she was still with us, which the developers appear to understand; it's more than just a silly little game about removing signs and saving Moominvalley; it represents the aspects of life that was Tove and her ideals / creation. It's her work come to life through the video game medium.

It's difficult, fun, and fast, with a leaderboard where you can compete against your friends and the rest of the world. You're essentially attempting to solve a puzzle using your explosions as fast as you possibly can, which propel you around, accelerate you, and demolish obstacles in your path while avoiding death traps.

A cinematic masterpiece and that is all that is needed to be said.

Animal Well feels a lot like Rain World to me, but unlike Rain World, which I never could get into or appreciate due to a lack of direction, massive backtracking, and an overall unappealing thematic style, Animal Well does everything that I found was lacking in such platforming / survival games. The lack of a story is not perplexing; I never feel lost, and I truly want to explore and retrace my steps back to prior regions in order to discover hidden locations and to go further through each segment without feeling like it's a huge waste of my time.

This game, in my opinion, is more of a pastime than a passion project with a lot of love, with the developer coming off as carelessly wanting to make a game to please their friend who enjoyed what they had provided, many hours of theory crafting builds similar to Path of Exiles or Diablo 2 that quite literally emulates that same sensation of the screen lighting up with effects as you grow stronger and stronger mowing through easier and easier stages due to the overwhelming power you can obtain!

With several layers of responses prepared for every possible thought as long as it is a single word the developers of Cryptmaster just had a great deal of passion for creating a more transparent type of interaction with their player base. If you're a little too snarky, you might receive some witty sass in return; if you're inappropriate, the same thing will occur.

Visually it's great, sound effects are pleasant and the game gets harder as you progress through each area, rather than being too overwhelmingly difficult or very easy and boring.

If you're looking for something a little slower paced and narrative-driven rather than hands-on when it comes to a game focused on detective parts, this game will definitely scratch that traditional sin-city itch. When it comes to your decisions, it's a rather brief and strongly play-driven experience, with four possible endings based on the moral options you chose throughout your playtime.
0 Want
The main thing that hits me about this game is the soundtrack and the animations / idle poses; I don't know, it's not often that a Metroidvania focuses so strongly on the fluidity of the animations and skills. It's usually simplistic and fluid, with a focus on the background or boss's spectacular effects. Not to mention the interconnected stories of each Homunculus and the universe as a whole. I don't usually care much about world building in these games, but it's quite intriguing that I can't help but want to meet more characters!

Zet Zillion is a unique spin on the overcrowded deck building genre expanding on the ideas of Slay the Spire thoroughly. If you've played them all and many others, it seems fresh, unique, and inventive while still being difficult and full of charm and fantastic voice actors, not to mention a very impressionable visual art style that you're sure to love and maybe be a bit scared by (you'll know when you know) haha.

The game is a mix of gameplay that is similar to Slay the Spire and Darkest Dungeon; it has a lot going for it, including the dialog, artstyle, progression, and voice acting. A lot of replay ability and diversity.

Simply put, this is a slower-paced iteration of the Visual Novel genre similar to things like Night in the woods, very engaging, and emotionally connected with your moral responsibility to the authority and yourself in this dystopian society.

Afterplace is right in the center of such masterfully crafted works like Undertale. You will not be disappointed if you like a game with perspective, story, character development and player engagement on a more internal level.

At first sight, Leximan does not appear to be particularly fascinating. It's not trying like most games to be overly visually appealing, and it's not exactly a "Game" in the sense that it is basically like a lengthy series of unforeseen events that have you giggling and scratching your head in pure shock.

It's basically a blend of Final Fantasy Tactics and Fire Emblem, you know. Tactic games that provide additional variety through character creation and unit customization.

Shogun Showdown will not bore you with eye candy or narrative. You start the game and go through some rather strategic turn-based action in which you have to survive waves of foes while using a variety of various abilities and weapons.

Surprisingly well-designed turn-based tactical puzzle game. You'll embark on the biggest heist to save the planet from a water catastrophe, using a variety of characters, visual effects, and roles.

Ever go to work at a fast food restaurant and think to yourself. "I really enjoy this! I can't wait to return home and do it all again in a video game!" Because that is precisely what Galaxy Burger is all about! Do it solo or with online co-op it really emulates everything perfectly!

It's fairly pricey, but here's the thing. It's pricey because you can tell they put a lot of time and work into all of the voicing (there are no reading parts, everything is voiced), the visuals are fantastic and well polished, and the models' attire and weapons do not clip. The gameplay is enjoyable and fascinating, keeping you going back for more. There are several quests, characters, builds, weapons, and skills with the online multiplayer. I could go on for several hours.

Core Keeper felt different, it's palpable, there is a innate drive that compels you to move forward, to explore to get the next recipes, to build and expand and try to be creative. This game will take you roughly 50 hours if you do some moderate farming, base construction, and exploration. The game itself is not challenging at all, more like a very relaxing and wonderful adventure. You could increase the difficulty level and it would still feel pretty simple, mostly due to how strong the basic axe is when completely upgraded with gems.

Tower defense combined with aspects from Kingdom 2 Crowns. It's new, tough, and, most importantly, distinctive in that it attempts to expand on the concept present. Build defenses, walls, armies and survive!

One of the best horror stories of 2024. It felt highly professional and well-thought out, as if the developer had a goal and gave it their all more than 100% in producing and expressing it through visual and written design.

Sulfur was one of the most popular games during Steam Next Fest, and for good reason. It's both tough and enjoyable due to the amount of depth contained within such a simple design. Combining Extraction Shooters and Dungeon Crawling features in a single player game that challenges and risks hours of progression due to your own stupidity and underestimating of your foes' damage and swarming ability. There are over 150 crafting combinations for consumables, powers, and buffs, not to mention the numerous weapon upgrades, attachments, and costumes that may be found and combined to provide strong bonuses.

It's tough, nostalgic, and, most importantly, it's enjoyable, scratching an itch that no other RTS from current generations can alleviate. The developers are enthusiastic about their efforts, thanking players and even stopping by streams to leave remarks and also take some notes. You won't find any better game that matches Stronghold & Age of Empires perfectly.

Despite what you may see and hear on social media and in the adult modding community, Atlyss is a very fun and wholesome little social hub game that you can join at any time to tackle a few dungeons with your friends and strangers from all over the world or even solo. It has a lot of old sensations and feels strangely familiar, similar to Maplestory 2, FlyFF, Ragnarok Online and classic N64 polygons. There are (3) classes to choose from, lots of min-maxing to strive for and social fun to be had here.

I spent a lot of time alone and with others fishing the day away to keep my mind clear of negative thoughts, and I can see myself coming back in the future to finish my fishing log and to relax when I'm feeling down and need to get away from all I do. Beastieball is packed to the brim with endless possibilities, whether it's potential mini-games, online PvP, farming, metamorphosing your creatures into really cool designs, or simply being a wonderful family friendly game about doing the right thing and supporting your local town / world to the absolutely fantastic soundtrack that keeps getting MORE and MORE upbeat, when you thought there was no way it could possibly get any better!

I haven't had this much fun with an Action Roguelike since RoR2 and Gunfire Reborn, before becoming bored with the repetitive nature of the stronger and more powerful characters that were released over time. So, if you're in that sort of pit and want to check this bad boy out, it's going to be something truly remarkable after it's had time to fully grow. There isn't enough content to successfully burn out on here right now, so I'd wait until more items are added, otherwise go crazy, but don't burn out too fast!

It's incredible what one guy and a goal can accomplish. Real Web Legends is a tribute to the legendary Ocarina of Time, with many other components, and it is now in early access. It's extremely bizarre, flamboyant, and amusing, with all of the characters and dramatic cutscenes.

This is essentially a boss rush game; you're thrown into the virtual consciousness of a young girl; the story between her and her combat protocol and assistant is very compelling and something I didn't want to miss; wonderful pixel art and fantastic boss mechanics, while also being extremely difficult. It's super fun to play through!

If you are familiar with the RUTHLESS mode from the original game. You're going to see a lot of that extreme gameplay, challenging encounters, tight mechanics, and a lot of trouble completing a lot of the stuff. Personally, I would wait for the release, but if you are still interested, wait a few more weeks to avoid the changes that are causing bricked builds.

If you enjoy long and drawn-out exploration, various choices, and branched endings where your decisions have an influence and there are many things that can be overlooked and pieced together, then 10 DEAD DOVES will undoubtedly appeal to you. That being said, if all you're looking for is cheap jumpscare horror or anything approximating the current horror cliche, this is more suited to fans of vintage Silent Hill. It is a walking simulator, not a fighting game.

Wizard Chess is intriguing because it uses the traditional concept of chess. (Protect your King) in this case the Wizard and is based on a turn-based roguelike in which you select your own deck (units) and use their special effects to survive each stage while keeping them all alive. So you might get the Rogue, who can attack in any direction and move straight and diagonally across the board. You might acquire a Lancer that can dash a few steps and one-shot anything with a single strike.

Dice Gambit starts off weird, more like a visual novel with a variety of artstyles and choices. Each character is distinct, humorous, foolish, and sensual. You name it, they can pull it off. You can customize your character to your liking, giving them whatever style you desire and then go with it. The customization doesn't end there; you can shape them into any classes you like, train them to excel in specific duties, and, of course, marry them to tailor your runs.
