A beautiful game narrating a story of a young boy who visits his granny on an island. It starts with little Sosuke packing his bags, going on a journey every morning to meet new people , explore new places, learn new things and make memories of the island. They've shown a lot of things about Japanese culture!! Other than that the game has shown many elements that can take you to your childhood days. The research was done nicely!! The game depicts multiple characters interacting with the boy each having their own story. Their stories were entertaining and it wasn't all very happy.
It is an interactive story based game with a some modes of adventure. The characters are very adorable.The artwork is very simple and beautiful. The background music wins as it gives you a warm feeling of being on an island close to nature.
It's a slow paced game which you can check in like every two hours when Sosuke returns from his journey. The overall experience of seeing this boy returning from his journey and sharing his memories of the day was very relaxing.
The controls and navigation within the game are easy but the gameplay was a bit difficult to understand at first because few things were a little confusing. Other than that, the game has multiple endings. I got the normal ending and I was happy with that but in my ending I felt it a bit incomplete as some characters didn't show up in my ending. I wanted to know what happened to their story. You can restart the game for another ending, but I feel that wouldn't give the same exact experience!! Finally I couldn't let go Sosuke , So I made an album of his cute photos.
