The Afterglow of the Pre-Three Kingdoms Era 【No. 10: Tokugawa】

Do you feel it? The Three Kingdoms content might just be around the corner—perhaps in 1–2 weeks. Here’s why:

👉Firstly, the customer service team seems to be “possessed,” posting about Three Kingdoms daily, as if talking to themselves. This feels like a clear prelude to new content.

👉Secondly, they’ve mentioned that some of the Three Kingdoms-related content is already in testing. Testing means that the heroes, classes, and equipment are likely completed, with balance adjustments currently underway. So, I’m betting it’s right around the corner.

Before the release of new factions, heroes, classes, and equipment, let’s take one last look at the current top 10 heroes across the three existing factions.

Today, we focus on Tokugawa—a name that bridges history and strategy, symbolizing wisdom and calculated power.

💎No. 10: Tokugawa

With the recent Tale of Link rework, Tokugawa became the only hero in the game with dual Tale. His "Warlord of Sengoku" Tale benefits from his connection to Takeda, a must-have for every player. When activating Tale for Takeda, you incidentally unlock Tale for Tokugawa and Nobunaga, granting an all-attribute aura of +5, +10, or +20 to nearby allies. While Tokugawa himself doesn’t receive this bonus, if he and Takeda are on the same field, they can mutually benefit from each other’s auras. Units within both their ranges gain stacked Tales. Adding Nobunaga creates a triple aura, though Nobunaga's strength isn’t compelling enough. Tokugawa + Takeda’s dual aura setup suffices.

His secondary Tale, “Japanese Samurai,” grants attack Tales but requires investment in rare units. Fully activating it demands two Fine Dark Lord, one Fine Red Cavalry, and four Fine Nihon Sochi Shichihon.

Tokugawa’s role, when both Tales are active, is a survivable supporter who can clear mobs. However, lacking shield-piercing capabilities, his performance against bosses is subpar. That said, aside from boss fights, he’s a solid all-rounder.
